This is very nice. I like the smooth upper side of the head and the evil blind eyes. It is almost perfect, even the color, but i think the tentacles are a little to pointed...i perefer them rounder.
The simple straight composition makes the picture worth a second look. It seems like a black body is coming out of the mist. It is very beneficial that you did not paint a body. It gives cthulhu this non - human squid touch I often miss in similiar pictures.
You Picture allows a widh range of imagination of what cthulhu is really like. It is part of the unseeable and unspeakable horror, so don't paint it too clear. Well done!
